National Taiwan University is now accepting applications for the 6th EMI Plus Faculty Development Workshop. Faculty members from colleges and universities are welcome to apply.

The five-day, 36-hour workshop is designed to support professional development in English as a Medium of Instruction (EMI). The program covers a range of topics and activities, including teaching demonstrations, challenges and solutions in EMI classrooms, interactive digital tools, ChatGPT-assisted lesson planning, instructional video production, teaching practice, and feedback.

Pre- and post-assessments will be incorporated into the program to evaluate participants’ learning outcomes. Participants who successfully complete the assessment requirements will receive a certificate of completion jointly issued by the Ministry of Education, Taiwan Assessment and Evaluation Association, and National Taiwan University, as well as an Instructional Skills Workshop (ISW) certificate.

  • Venue: National Taiwan University (detailed venue information will be provided after registration)
  • Eligibility: Project-based or full-time faculty members from colleges and universities
  • Capacity: 20 participants
  • Registration Deadline: December 6, 2026
  • Registration: Individual online registration; applicants will be notified of the registration results by email
