English as a Medium of Instruction
This section provides Asia University faculty members with information on qualifications for teaching English as a Medium of Instruction (EMI) courses, weighted teaching hours, and relevant university regulations for EMI course planning and instruction.
EMI Faculty Qualifications
According to the Asia University Regulations Governing Incentives for English-Medium Instruction, faculty members teaching EMI courses must meet at least one of the following requirements and provide the relevant supporting documents:

| Business Language Testing Service (BULATS) | ALTE Level 3 |
| Global English Test (GET) | B2 |
Weighted Teaching Hours for EMI Courses
According to the Asia University Guidelines for the Calculation of Faculty Teaching Hours and Hourly Pay, EMI courses approved by The Center for the Development of Language Teaching and Research and taught by faculty members who meet the applicable requirements are eligible for weighted teaching-hour calculation.
